Özet

Alpine skiing is a winter sport that has a long history and is used for touristic and competitive purposes in many countries around the world. Since the first slalom competition in alpine skiing held in 1921, the first World Championship in 1931 and eventually taking part in the Winter Olympics in 1936, this competition has been increasing. Successful countries have achieved great promotional opportunities with these successes and have used this opportunity to develop winter tourism in their countries. In our study, the results of the competition of successful countries, especially in the Olympic Winter Games (OWG), the Youth Olympic Games (YOG), the World Ski Championship (WSC) and the Junior World Ski Championship (JWSC) from the first organization to the last organization were analyzed.
