Özet

Advancement of digital technologies has led to unauthorized distribution and reproduction of digital media contents. To prevent unrestricted access to digital data, digital watermarking presents an efficient solution for requirements, such as proof of ownership of digital media, protection of copyright. Digital watermarking techniques that exist in the literature often embed the watermark on complex images. In this study, a blind method with entropy, LWT and Firefly Algorithm is proposed to embed the binary logo into smooth images. The embedding and extraction steps of the method are done in the low frequency bands of LWT. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Peak signal to noise ratio, normalized correlation and bit error rate are preferred to interpret the success of the method.
