The aim of the study is to determine all sub-dimensions of nomophobia and which sub-dimensions of nomophobia are more prominent in the formation of behavioural addiction risk. It also aims to provide preliminary support for the prevalence of nomophobia among students by revealing the multidimensional profile of individuals in the nomophobia risk group. The study is a relational research in which the interactions between variables are analysed using the theoretical framework. 1200 Turkish students, 41.3% (n = 496) male and 58.7% (n = 704) female, participated in this study. Questionnaires were used to collect personal data from the participants. Findings: Within the scope of the research, the sub-dimensions of nomophobia, namely, losing connection (31.33) and inability to communicate (28.20), are prominent at T2. According to the study, nomophobia levels of female students (80.87) were higher than male students (75.21) at T3 (N = 1200). In addition, in the general analysis of nomophobia at T7, it was found that students from the Faculty of Communication (94.50) and Faculty of Fine Arts (92.50) had the highest nomophobia scores. The current findings will provide important information for students at risk of nomophobia and help to effectively implement preventive measures and interventions among students at risk of nomophobia.
