Özet

In the study, an evaluation was made for cognitive load, which is one of the most important issues for learning. During learning activities, students receive various stimuli from the environment with their sense organs. After these stimuli are individually meaningful in the mind, cognitive schemas are formed. The quality of the information in the learning process is very important when creating these schemes. All kinds of tools used in the learning-teaching process are represented in different ways in the mind. For this reason, the tools and materials used during the course should not contain unnecessary information. Every unnecessary information used becomes a burden on students' cognitive structures and negatively affects learning. The sense of sight is not used in students who have no vision. For this reason, it is thought that the cognitive load during learning activities is less than the students with normal vision.
