This study aims to investigate the relationship between teacher candidates' liking of children behaviors and their attitudes towards the teaching profession. The study sample comprised 484 teacher candidates selected via purposive sampling from among those attending Ataturk University, Kazim Karabekir Education Faculty's Departments of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. Data collection tools included the "Liking of Children Scale and the "Attitudes towards the Teaching Profession Scale." The data were analyzed with Pearson Correlation and Simple Linear Regression Analyses. The results indicated positive meaningful relations between liking of children and the subfactors of the Attitudes towards the Teaching Profession Scale. In addition, the liking of children behaviors were found to be an important predictor of the attitude towards the teaching profession.
