This research is made to examine the psychological consultants' level of burnout according to, duty station, to be appreciated by their superiors, type of school, the nature of the school and cooperation with managers. The research is carried out with 213 individuals who were randomly chosen from the counselors working in Erzurum city center and its districts in 2011-2012 academic years. The research data is collected with the Maslach Burnout lnventory which is developed by Maslach (1981) and is adapted to Turkish by Ergin (1992).
The data about the variables concerning the psychological consultants is collected with 'Personal lnformation Form' prepared by the researcher. T-test technique, one-way variance analysls and Post Hoc LSD test technique is used in the statistical analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it is determined that there is no meaningful differentiation between psychological consultants' burnout levels and the variables of duty station, type of school; there is a meaningful differentiation to be appreciated by their superiors, the nature of the school and cooperatlon with managers. These resuhs are discussed and necessary suggestions are made.
