Self-evaluation in educational organizations provides information about the current state of the schools self -evaluation process revealing what schools can or cannot do increases the productivity of the effectiveness of schools. The aim of this study is to evaluate the views of school directors in terms of the implementation of Primary School Standards ( PSS ), which will motivate the process of self-evaluation of the schools, introduced in Primary schools from 2010-2011 training year. For this purpose, we consulted to theviews of 20 elementary school principals in the center of the province of Erzincan. In the study we used qualitative research methods and analyzed the findings obtained through qualitative data analysis method. As consequence of the study, we determined that the school managers in general have positive thoughts about PSS but do not have enough information about the practice and procedures, the parents are indifferent to this practice, the schools do not have adequate technical infrastructure and they have some problems during the practicing stage.
