Özet

This study examines 14-cylinder seals from the Diyarbakir Archeology Museum. Unfortunately, the museum inventory does not provide any information about their definition, period, or the culture they belong to. To determine their cultural significance, relevant details were presented to the academic community by comparing them with examples and similar items from previously published scientific papers. The seals discussed in this paper were exposed to abrasion, and some have signs of deterioration due to excessive use and scraping. The cylinder seals of this study represent the Akkadian, Old Babylonian, Mitanni, and Assyrian seal arts, depicting scenes from mythology, worship, hunting, and struggles.
