The L-3l, L-3 alpha, L-3 beta, L-2 beta, L-2 gamma, L-1 beta, L-1 gamma, L-beta, L-gamma, L-1x, L-2x and L-3x x-ray production cross sections in Re, W and Ta have been measured using the 59.5 keV incident photon energy. The measurements were performed using an Am-241 radioisotope as the photon source and a Si(Li) detector. The L x-rays are resolved with a new analytical method. The obtained L-l, L-alpha, L-3 beta, L-2 beta, L-2 gamma, L-1 beta, L-1 gamma, L-beta, L-gamma, L-1x, L-2x and L-3x x-rays are compared with the theoretical calculations using the most reliable theoretical values of Li (i = 1,2, 3) subshell photoionization cross sections, fluorescence yields, x-ray emission rates and Coster-Kronig transition probabilities. The results in the present paper are found to be in good agreement with the calculated values.
