In this study, it is aimed to investigate the psychological skills of football players according to some variables. The universe of the research consists of amateur soccer players in Samsun and Erzurum. The sample consists of 100 participants, 50 professional players and 50 amateur players. In this study, demographic characteristics of participants were collected using “Personal Information Form” and other research data was collected using the “Assessment of Athletic Psychological Skills Scale ”. Various statistical analyzes were applied to the data obtained from the participants via SPSS 21.00 software. Participant survey data showed normal distribution. Data was analyzed using parametric tests. The Turkish validity and reliability of the Scale for Evaluating the Psychological Skills of Athletes were made by Erhan et al. (2015) and the reliability coefficient of the scale was found to be 0.85. In the study, reliability coefficient was calculated and found to be 0.84. As a result of the study, significant differences were found between the scores of the participants and gender and the type of sports they performed and some sub-dimensions of the “Psychological Assessment Scale of Athletes ve and significant relationships were found between the sub-dimensions.
