Özet: In this study, the effects of S. Boulardii, a probiotic yeast, on pesticide-induced toxicity were investigated. In chronic exposures, low doses of imidacloprid and acetamiprid may accumulate in liver and kidney tissues and we have shown that this damage can be caused by pesticides and this damage can be treated bu Saccharomyces Boulardii. It was found that Saccharomyces Boulardii, used as probiotic, protected tissue in chronic pesticide exposure, decreased the severity of inflammation and also prevented damage by reducing imidacloprid and acetamiprid residues in liver and kidney. S.Boulardii is promising in terms of showing that it can be a cheap and alternative treatment that can be used prophylactically in agricultural workers, retailers selling pesticides or individuals who are at risk of exposure due to any situation
