Smart city furnitures are urban elements that use technology to keep up with changing world conditions and contribute to
the solution of problems caused by urbanization. In this study, it is aimed to determine the current situation of smart city
furnitures in Erzurum city and to contribute to the social transformation process that has emerged within the scope of
smart cities and the studies planned to be carried out in the future. Within the scope of the study, the samples of the World
and Turkey were examined according to the types of smart city furnitures. In addition, negotiations were held with official
institutions in order to determine the current situation regarding smart city furnitures in the city of Erzurum. According
to the analyses obtained from the literature research and field studies conducted, samples were compared and solutions
and improvement suggestions were made for the development of smart city furnitures applications in Erzurum city and
the elimination of deficiencies.
