Definition of the Problem: Covid-19, which has been on the agenda of all countries in the world from the moment it started, has created a global threat due to its rapid transmission from person to person and high death rates. The epidemic is severe and dangerous, especially in the elderly and individuals with comorbid diseases. For this reason, it is very important to evaluate the individual from the contagion of the epidemic and to take the necessary medical measures for both the individual and the environment for survival.
Aim: To provide care information to support nurses about situations that require urgent intervention and nursing care in the Covid-19 epidemic.
Theoretical Framework: It should be standard for all patients to assess emergencies caused by the Covid-19 outbreak and organize rapid care methods. Nurses, who play a key role in providing this standard of care, are the frontline soldiers in the fight against the epidemic. Nurses can reduce the complications that may occur in the patient during the diagnosis and care process by using their knowledge and skills with this role they undertake.
Conclusion: The knowledge and skills of nurses, who are at the forefront of treatment and care, about emergencies and care in covid-19 patients play a key role in the care process. For this reason, the nurse should have the equipment to provide rapid diagnosis and patient care in emergency situations.
