Özet

Asik Garip, one of the most important products of the tradition of folk story is a very popular narrative also in Turkish world. The work has spread under the title of "Sahsenem and Garip" among Kazan Tatars. In this essay, the features of the form and content of "Sahsenem and Garip" edited by Sesen Mevlekey Yumacikov are discussed, its episodes and motives are determined and the attained results are presented to reader.
