Özet

In recent years, the global developments in the education systems and the acceleration of the communication era have considerably triggered the improvement of the education and training programs and tolls. It has been begun to use versatile education tolls and measurements instead of one-way those. However,  the effects of the general failures in primary and secondary educations have been considerably percieved in higher education. In order to explore the reasons of these negative factors, they could be grouped three categoies such as the student-oriented factors (i.e. the students’ socioeconomic, indivitual, pysicological variables), the variable based on the convenience of the classrooms and education tools (physical environment) and the variables focused on the academicians and the measurement techniques used by them. The primary data used to analyze the negative effects including these factors were obtained from the 150 students training at the collage of Agriculture of Ataturk University in 2010-2011. The principle component analysis (PCA) was used to obtain the main factors affecting the students’ failure. According to the results of the study, the factors affecting on the students’ failure in higher education were listed in order to be the challenges of the conceptual and communicative motivation, the lack of ability to study the rational course, the wrong choise of the working area and the concern for the future, the lack of the physical facilities at the faculty, the negative sensory impulses, the incorrect measurement techniques deviating from the objectives of the course outputs, the lack of the aplication realeted to the main course, and the lack of the cognitive and behavioral communication. According to the results of the study, the education planning and polycies based on the factors minimizing the effects of the variables preventing the students’ success, and motivating their success could be improved and applicated.
