Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence techniques were used to analyze cuttlefish backbone. The standard addition method was used to determine the concentration of Na, Mg, K and Ca. The experimental setup consisted of a Si(Li) detector with resolution of 160 eV at 5.9 keV and angular Fe-55 sources. The data were compared with our previous literature work and discussed in this study.
