Özet

The aim of this study is to introduce Vidinli Huseyin Tevfik Pasha and his triplets in terms of history of mathematics and mathematics education. Vidinli Huseyin Tevfik Pasha was an Ottoman mathematician during the 19. century and he attempted to construct a kind of algebra that could be placed between Argand system and Hamilton's quaternions in the history of mathematics.
