Bu çalışmada, İslam Felsefesi Tarihindeki şerh ve haşiyeler dönemi düşünürlerinden olan Celâleddin ed-Devvânî’nin felsefesini ontolojik açıdan inceleyen bir eserin tanıtım ve değerlendirmesi yapılacaktır. Bahse konu olan araştırma Prof. Dr. Eyüp Bekiryazıcı’nın kaleme aldığı “Devvânî Felsefesinin Ontolojik Kökenleri” başlıklı kitaptır. Yazar, kitabında Devvânî’nin düşüncesini, içerisinde bulunduğu gelenek ve felsefi arka planı dikkate alarak incelemiştir. Bu anlamda Devvânî, İşraki geleneğe yakın bir filozof olarak görünse de bu felsefeyi Meşşai hatlarla da bezemeye gayret edip aynı zamanda tasavvuf felsefesini de kendi sistematiği içerisinde kullanan eklektik bir filozoftur. Eser yukarıda yaptığımız tarifi, düşünürün zorunlu varlık, mümkün varlık, isbat-ı vacip gibi görüşleri bağlamında ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir.
In this study, a work that examines the philosophy of Jalāl-al-Dīn Dawānī, who is one of the thinkers of the commentary and annotations period in the History of Islamic Philosophy, will be introduced and evaluated. The mentioned research is the book titled “Ontological Origins of Dawānī Philosophy” written by Professor Eyup Bekiryazici. In his book, the author examined Dawānī’s thought, taking into account the tradition and philosophical background he was in. In this sense, Dawānī is an eclectic philosopher who tries to embellish this philosophy with Peripatetic lines and also uses the philosophy of Sufism in his own systematic, although he seems to be a philosopher close to the Ishraqi tradition. The work aims to present the definition we made above in the context of the thinker's views such as necessary existence, possible existence and proof.
