A 63-year-old woman presented with complaints of shortness of breath, palpitation, angina pectoris, and fatigue 10 years after a left pneumonectomy for carcinoid tumor. Echocardiography and catheterization showed both mitral and aortic valve disease. The mitral and aortic valves were replaced with bileaflet mechanical prostheses. The patient was discharged on the 12th postoperative day without ally complication. Echocardiographic examination at two months showed normal cardiac contractility and competent prosthetic mitral and aortic valves. At the end of postoperative five years, the patient did not have any cardiac complaints.
