Özet
This study investigates the impact of digitalization on individual attitudes and behaviors, with a specific focus on social media and motivational video content. The primary objective is to examine the relationship between university students’ engagement with motivation-oriented social media accounts and their perceptions of entrepreneurship. Employing a correlational survey design, the study was conducted with 465 undergraduate students. Data were collected using a demographic information form, items related to social media use and daily routines, and the Individual Entrepreneurship Perception Scale. The findings reveal that 69% of participants actively follow motivational content on social media platforms. Those who do demonstrate significantly higher entrepreneurial perception scores than non-followers, with consistent differences observed across all subscales of the scale. Additionally, students with motivational content tend to report more regular sleep patterns, higher perceived academic success, more structured study habits, and greater satisfaction with their current academic programs. Overall, the results suggest that motivational content consumed via social media has the potential to influence not only momentary emotional states but also long-term behavioral tendencies such as entrepreneurial orientation. These findings highlight digital motivation sources' formative and directive role in shaping individual developmental trajectories, particularly in educational and career-related domains.
