In the molecules of the title compound, C17H15N3O2, the ethoxyphenyl ring forms a dihedral angle of 7.37 (11)degrees with the quinoline ring system. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric R-2(2)(10) dimers; these dimers are arranged in sheets parallel to the ab plane.
