These narratives have an extremely valuable and rich content in terms of literary and historical values. In this study, I compared the story of Tahir and Zuhre, the 1952 film "Tahir and Zuhre" and the play "Tahir and Zuhre", an example of contemporary theater. In this comparison, I first analyzed the story of Tahir and Zuhre and narrated the narrative in terms of motifs and episodes. Then I presented the plot of the film "Tahir and Zuhre" written and directed by omer Lutfi Akad and starring Sezer Sezin and Kenan Artun. Finally, I evaluated the theater play "Tahir ile Zuhre" written by Hayrettin Filiz within the fictional framework. I compared the narratives in terms of adaptation, inspiration and re-creation in the context of intertextuality. I analyzed the reflection of the main motifs in new texts around the rewriting of the narrative in various forms.
