Özet
Introduction: Interferon-beta (IFN-beta) has been used for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, because of its immunomodulatory activity. IFN-beta can also improve nerve regeneration after crush injuries. We aimed to investigate the potential of using IFN-beta to treat peripheral nerve injury and the role of pro-inflammatory mediators and apoptosis in the effect of IFN-beta.
