Abstract:

It is thought that it is necessary to understand how e-learning attitudes of e-athletes affect their education and sports careers. In this context, it is aimed to examine the relationship between dual career competencies and e-learning attitudes, which are necessary for e-Athletes to successfully carry out their education and sports lives together, and to contribute to the literature. In the research, data were collected through Personal Information Form, Dual Career Competence Scale for Athletes and Attitude Scale towards E-learning in Sports. The population of the research consisted of a total of 5356 actively licensed E-athlete, 3431 of whom were men and 1925 were women. The sample consisted of a total of 631 active licensed E-Athletes, 392 men and 239 women. In the research, the data were analyzed with the IBM SPSS program. Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test was applied to the obtained data and it was determined that the data did not show normal distribution (p<0.05). In this direction, Mann – Whitney U test was used for structures with two independent variables, and Kruskal Wallis - H test was used for structures with more than two variables. The Bonferroni test was used to find out which groups the difference originated from, and the Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient test was used to determine the relationship between the concepts. It has been determined that the average age of e-athletes is 20.60, 72.6% of them are educated in higher education institutions. It has been observed that e-athletes mostly prefer SPORTS games with a rate of 26.1%. It was determined that there was no significant relationship between the income level variable of e-athletes and their dual career competency perceptions and attitudes towards e-learning. It has been determined that there is a positive relationship between e-athletes dual career competency perceptions and their attitudes towards e-learning.
