Biography
Ahmet Coşkunçay has been a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at Atatürk University since 2018. He received his PhD in Information Systems from Middle East Technical University. His academic work focuses on software engineering and artificial intelligence, and he teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests include AI-assisted software engineering, ontology engineering, and machine learning, and he has published works and conducted projects in these areas.
Between 2007 and 2016, he worked as a research assistant at Middle East Technical University. He served as a project manager, researcher, and consultant in software projects conducted within the scope of university-industry collaboration; he actively participated in many application-oriented studies in collaboration with the private sector and public institutions. He also provided consultancy services to medium and large-scale software and systems companies within the scope of CMMI and SPICE models. Between 2018 and 2020, he served as the Deputy General Manager responsible for the Technology Transfer Office at ATA Technopark, and between 2022 and 2025, he served as the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering.
