Asst. Prof. Dr. Çağlar Kıvanç Kaymaz was born in Çat (Erzurum) in 1987. He took primary school education, middle school education, and high school education in Erzurum. He received a bachelor’s degree in Atatürk University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of Geography and a master’s degree in Atatürk University Institute of Social Sciences. He is still studying for doctorate in Atatürk University Institute of Social Sciences. He worked as a research assistant for Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of Geography between 2012 and 2013. He was appointed as research assistant to Atatürk University Faculty of Letters Department of Geography in 2014. He made national and international publications, and participated in conferences. He continues to study in the fields of geography, tourism, ecology, ecotourism, and Geographic Information Systems. He is married, and knows English.
