Professor Dr. Alimurat AKTEMUR was born in 1973 in Çıldır. After completing his primary and secondary education in Çıldır, he graduated from Atatürk University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Art History in 1995 with the highest degree. He completed his Master degree in the Department of Turkish-Islamic Arts in the same department and his doctorate degree in the Department of Western Art and Contemporary Arts History in the same Department.
In 2007 Assist. Assoc. Dr. In 2010, the Inter-University Board of Art History-Turkish and Islamic Art History in the field of Science Assoc. Dr. In 2015, Prof.Dr. He's got their title.
He has published many books, articles in international quality in Art History Department, He had many international symposiums, conferences, panels and seminars. In addition to teaching post-graduate courses, He has conducted many graduate thesis advisors.
He has worked as a jury member of numerous Associate and Professor candidates in the Department of Art History. He is married and has two children.
