He was born in 1989 in Selçuklu district of Konya. After graduating from Selçuk University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 2011, she started her graduate studies at Selçuk University Social Sciences Institute in the same year. In 2013, he started to work as a research assistant at Atatürk University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Department of New Turkish Literature. Kılıçarslan, who transferred to Atatürk University Social Sciences Institute, completed his master's degree with his thesis titled "The Literary World of Hilmi Ziya Ülken and Analysis of His Novels". Kılıçarslan, who completed his doctorate program at the same university with his thesis titled "Sheikh Galib Esintisi in New Turkish Poetry" in 2021, still continues his academic studies in the same department.
