He was born in 1983 in the Arhavi district of Artvin, Türkiye. He graduated from the Department of Primary School Teaching at Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education in 2004, where he had started his undergraduate studies in 2000.
Between 2004 and 2009, he worked as a primary school teacher in Erzurum. In 2009, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education. He completed his master’s degree in the Division of Primary School Teaching in 2009 and his PhD in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017.
He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Curriculum and Instruction in 2020 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2025. Between 2020 and 2024, he served as the Vice Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences at Atatürk University. Since November 2024, he has been serving as the Director of the Teaching and Learning Development Application and Research Center at Atatürk University.
