Prof. Dr. Fatih Kiyici was born in 1981 in Tortum / Erzurum. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Erzurum Atatürk University and his doctorate in Ankara Gazi University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Kiyici, a former national athlete, started his academic career as a research assistant at Atatürk University School of Physical Education and Sports in 2002. He became Assistant Professor in 2009, Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor in 2020.
Prof. Dr. Fatih Kiyici is also the director of the Graduate School of Winter Sports and Sport Sciences, of which he is the founder, and the Sport Sciences Application and Research Center.
In addition to his academic life, Kıyıcı, who has active duties in sports institutions and organizations, has been the Deputy Chairman and Board Member of the Turkish Ski Federation for many years. At the same time, he carries out duties in the International Ski Federation (FIS) commissioners.
He successfully fulfilled the duties of competition director, technical delegate and competition manager in international ski organizations in our country and abroad.
